Our deodorant is packed in simple cardboard tubing that is 100% recycyable, so is enviromentally considerate. 
 
It contains soothing butters and oils, absorbing clay and antibacterial ingredients that naturally neutralise odours. It does not block your sweat glands and allows you to sweat naturally while neutralising unpleasant smells.
 
Our formula works as a deodorant.  It is not an anti-perspirant.  Deodorant does exactly what the name suggests.  It helps to deodorise the bad smells associated with sweat.  Anti-perspirant on the other hand, blocks the body from sweating by utlilising aluminium to plug sweat glands.  A lot is said about the pros and cons of anti-perspirant. A quick google search will provide food for thought.  Here at Holly and Willow, we believe sweating is a natural occurence, and so we prefer to embrace sweat and work on neutralising it's odour.  It is the more natural way!
 
Our deodorant contains lots of lovely gentle ingredients that moisturise and eliminate whiff!
 
Coconut Oil - Moisturising and naturally antibacterial/anti-fungal.
 
Shea Butter - Rich and luxurious high quality butter with excellent moisturising properties.
 
Mango Butter - Skin softening, soothing and moisturising butter.
 
Sodium  Bicarbonate - a natural anti-bacterial salt that helps neutralise bad smells used in small quantities alongside moisturising butters and oils.
 
Arrowroot Powder - soaks up and absorbs moisture.
 
Kaoilin Clay - great for keeping pores unblocked.
 
How to use:
 
Hold the top of the inner tube and gently press from below.  Apply to your underarms by holding the stick to your arm for a moment to help heat the deodorant slightly.  This will help it glide smoothly over your skin.
 
Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.  External use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.  Keep out of reach from children
 
Graininess sometimes occurs due to raw shea butter used in the formula.  These will melt on contact with heat.  You may also sometimes see white flecks in your stick.  Rest asssured these are just some of the lovely clays and powders used to make your deodorant fabulous.
