Gentle Face Mask with Kaolin Clay & Green Tea
 
Our Gentle face mask is good for helping reduce skin irritations and breakouts.  Although suitable for most skins, it is most suited to oily/combination skin.   Those with dry skin may find it more drying.   It  contains green tea which may help to reduce skin irritation, skin redness, and may soothe irritation and itching caused by psoriasis, dermatitis, and rosacea.  It may treat breakouts and oily skin thanks to its antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.  Green tea contains several vitamins, including nourishing, hydrating vitamin E that plump up the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.  It also contains high concentrations of powerful natural antioxidants that fight ageing free radicals. 
 
Green tea is an antioxidant superhero and a particularly powerful ingredient in an anti-ageing skincare regime as it contains EGCG, a type of plant-based compound called catechin. The EGCG content in green tea is responsible for much of its health and skin benefits. While EGCG is found in other teas, as well as fruit, nuts and red wine, it appears in the highest amounts in green tea. Green tea may help counter the effects of pollution, sun damage, and chemicals that can accelerate skin aging. EGCG may also stimulate new skin cells and help restore a healthy glow to dull skin. It is 20 times more anti-oxidant than Vitamin C and known for reducing redness.
          
Kaolin is a very gentle clay that absorbs excess fats and helps to tone the skin.  When coupled with Green Tea it creates a very hydrating and nourishing treatment for your skin. Vitamin E rich Green Tea creates a nourishing and hydrating mask.   Green tea may help reduce redness and soothe Psoriasis.  It has anti-ageing and anti-oxidant properties.
 
Get the best from your face mask:
 
Your mask is a dry product.  To use it, start with a teaspoon of powder into a clean bowl.  Add a teaspon of water.  Blend well then apply to cleanly washed skin.  Leave on for 10 to 15 mintues.  Wipe off with a damp cloth, rinse and moisturise.
 
Application once per week is perfect.  If required, you can apply twice per week on occasion.   Prolonged use  more often than this may result in drying of the skin.
